Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.\nRemington Ammunition is seeking an Associate Electrical Controls Engineer. This entry-level Electrical Engineer (Programming & Controls) role focuses on assisting with the development, programming, and integration of automation technologies. The position supports control system design and PLC/HMI programming.\nThis position reports to our Director of Enterprise Applications and is based out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas.\nYou will:\nAssist in developing and programming automation solutions using C, C#, C++, and Python.\nSupport PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Red Lion)\nHelp integrate control systems with manufacturing equipment and related software\nAssist in developing HMI screens and operator interfaces\nParticipate in testing, debugging, and validating automated systems\nSupport documentation efforts including wiring diagrams, code comments, and configuration control\nAid in evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying improvement opportunities\nParticipate in cross-functional meetings to support project requirements\nIntegrate machine data with MES/SCADA/IT systems for traceability and analytics\nCollaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to develop proof-of-concept and scalable solutions. \nYou have:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering\nFoundational experience with programming languages such as C, C#, C++, or Python\nBasic understanding of PLC programming concepts (Allen Bradley or Red Lion preferred)\nExposure to HMI development or industrial communication protocols is a plus\nUnderstanding of basic electrical and control systems\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics\nStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office\nWork Environment:\nEmployee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
