We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.\nThe person filling this role will be working as a Senior Network Engineer, supporting The Kinetic Group network infrastructure. They will take a lead role in planning, deploying, and supporting networking equipment. They will also take part in the day-to-day operations of the network team, including but not limited to handling service tickets, working with venders, and performing network maintenance. \nThis position reports to the PMO and Infrastructure Manager and is based out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas with a hybrid option and includes some travel. A remote role is possible, but preference is based on location.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco switching infrastructure, including Catalyst 9000 platforms. \nManage Cisco Catalyst Center for network assurance, inventory, configuration management, software lifecycle management, and automation. \nSupport Cisco enterprise wireless infrastructure, including Catalyst wireless controllers, access points, and associated wireless services. \nAdminister Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure, including WAN connectivity, routing, policies, redundancy, and branch deployments. \nManage Cisco ISE for 802.1X, MAB, profiling, authorization policies, guest access, dACLs, and network access control. \nSupport enterprise remote-access VPN, network segmentation, secure connectivity, and integrations with Cisco Secure Access and other security platforms. \nManage enterprise network monitoring platforms, alerting, performance monitoring, capacity visibility, and proactive identification of network issues. \nTroubleshoot complex routing, switching, wireless, application-performance, authentication, and connectivity issues across the enterprise. \nSupport network architecture, hardware refreshes, site deployments, circuit turn-ups, migrations, vendor coordination, and infrastructure projects. \nMaintain network documentation, configurations, standards, and operational procedures while participating in the network on-call rotation and critical outage response. \nFollow IT standard operating procedures including but not limited to ticketing, project and change management, and business support. \nExperience you bring:\n6+ years of experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments \nStrong understanding of routing and switching technologies in large-scale enterprise networks \nAdvanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams \nNetwork infrastructure support in manufacturing and/or distribution environments \nCCNP certification, equivalent vendor certification, or comparable work experience \nYou might have:\nExperience with telecom solutions \nExperience supporting cloud networking environments (Azure and/or AWS) \nExperience with firewall support or collaboration \nWork Environment:\nEmployee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
