Being part of Remote People means being part of a growing, international family.\nOverview\nWe're seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer with solid full-stack fundamentals, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to grow fast in a high-ownership environment.\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou'll join one of our cross-functional squads - working alongside a Product Manager, a Designer, Front-End, Back-End and QA Engineers - building the world's best Employer of Record platform. We are a remote-first team spread across Asia and Europe, so you'll collaborate asynchronously and across time zones as a matter of course. You'll participate in the full implementation cycle across both front-end and back-end, contribute to technical discussions, and be expected to take increasing ownership of your work as you grow. AI tooling is a first-class part of how we work: you'll use it to accelerate your output and develop sharp judgment about when to trust it and when to push back.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript on the front-end, and Java or Python on the back-end\n\nBuild well-structured and scalable APIs to support front-end and back-end functionality\n\nParticipate in the full implementation cycle from design to rollout\n\nUse AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a standard part of your workflow, while developing the judgment to review and validate generated code\n\nWrite unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability\n\nCollaborate with Engineers and Product Manager to plan and implement new features\n\nParticipate in Engineering Chapters and contribute to architecture discussions\n\nRequirements\nMinimum of 3 years in web application development working with both front-end and back-end technologies\n\nWorking experience with React and TypeScript for building modern web applications\n\nWorking experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python and one of its frameworks for back-end services\n\nExperience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs\n\nGood knowledge of CSS and UI development practices\n\nAbility to communicate effectively in a remote environment - clear written communication, reliable async collaboration\n\nPreferred Skills\nFamiliarity with AI coding assistants and a willingness to build a disciplined workflow around them\n\nFamiliar with TDD- good instinct for writing tests, increasingly important when working with AI-generated code\n\nExperience working on a SaaS platform, or at least a custom-built product\n\nExperience with B2B SaaS products, FinTech or HRTech\n\nUnderstanding of security principles and performance optimization\n\nSelf-directed and curious: you take ownership of your tasks, seek feedback proactively, and drive your own growth without waiting to be pushed\n\nWhat it's like working at Remote People\nOur service & product.
