Maintenance Manager
Salary: R120 000 - R130 000 per month
Our client, an established industrial enterprise based in Polokwane, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their plant engineering and facility operations. This is a full-time, permanent position available for an immediate start.
What you will do:
- Oversee all plant machinery, equipment maintenance, and facility operations to ensure maximum operational uptime.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance strategies across all assets.
- Manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs related to spare parts, repairs, and external contractors.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of maintenance technicians, artisans, and engineers.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations (OHSA).
What we are looking for:
- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Solid leadership experience as a Maintenance Manager within a manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial setting.
- Proven track record in asset management and the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong financial acumen for managing departmental budgets and supplier contracts.
- Thorough knowledge of South African occupational health and safety standards.
Nice to have:
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) for Factories.
- Experience in managing large capital projects and plant upgrades.
What is on offer:
- Salary: R120 000 - R130 000 per month.
