You will manage bookings, help patients with routine appointment enquiries and maintain accurate records within approved procedures.\nWhat you will do\n- Book, confirm and reschedule patient appointments.\n- Respond to routine telephone and email enquiries about appointment arrangements.\n- Maintain accurate booking notes and contact information.\n- Send appointment reminders using agreed processes.\n- Coordinate schedule changes with the relevant practice team.\n- Escalate clinical questions and urgent concerns to authorised staff without offering medical advice.\n- Handle patient information confidentially and follow approved access procedures.\nWhat we are looking for\n- At least one year of appointment booking, reception or customer-service experience.\n- A calm, empathetic and professional communication style.\n- Strong organisation and accurate record keeping.\n- Confidence using calendars, email and booking systems.\n- The ability to follow confidentiality procedures and recognise the limits of a non-clinical role.\n- Reliability and the ability to work independently.\n- A suitable quiet workspace, reliable internet and a practical backup plan for connectivity or power interruptions.\nNice to have\n- Previous healthcare reception or patient-administration experience.\n- Experience with a practice-management system.\n- Experience supporting UK patients or customers.\nWhat is on offer\n- Monthly remuneration of R18,000 to R25,000, depending on relevant experience.\n- A fully remote role based in South Africa.\n- Full-time work aligned with UK business hours.\n- A non-clinical coordination role combining scheduling, administration and patient communication.\nWho can apply\nApplicants based in South Africa who can work the required hours and demonstrate the relevant skills and experience for this role.\nHow to apply\nApply through this advert with your updated CV.
