You will be the first point of contact for callers, providing a professional welcome, managing appointments and making sure enquiries reach the right person.\nWhat you will do\n- Answer incoming calls professionally and direct callers to the appropriate person.\n- Take accurate messages and pass them on promptly.\n- Book, confirm and reschedule appointments using an online calendar.\n- Respond to routine email enquiries using agreed information and processes.\n- Keep contact details, call notes and appointment records up to date.\n- Follow up on missed calls and outstanding enquiries.\n- Escalate urgent or complex queries to the appropriate team member.\n- Handle personal and business information confidentially.\nWhat we are looking for\n- At least one year of experience in reception, customer service or a similar phone-based role.\n- Clear spoken and written English and a friendly, professional telephone manner.\n- Strong organisation and attention to detail.\n- Confidence using email, calendars and basic office software.\n- The ability to manage several enquiries without losing track of follow-ups.\n- Reliability and the ability to work independently.\n- A suitable quiet workspace, reliable internet and a practical backup plan for connectivity or power interruptions.\nNice to have\n- Experience using a CRM, booking platform or internet-based telephone system.\n- Previous remote-working experience.\n- Experience supporting UK customers or businesses.\n- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.\nWhat is on offer\n- Monthly remuneration of R16,000 to R22,000, depending on relevant experience.\n- A fully remote role based in South Africa.\n- Full-time work aligned with UK business hours.\n- A varied role combining customer communication, scheduling and administration.\nWho can apply\nApplicants based in South Africa who can work the required hours and demonstrate the relevant skills and experience for this role.\nHow to apply\nApply through this advert with your updated CV.
