This is a multi-functional role ideal for someone who enjoys working across payroll operations, onboarding coordination, partner management, pre-sales support, invoicing, and process improvement. You will act as a key point of contact across internal teams and external payroll partners to ensure fast turnaround times, operational accuracy, and an excellent employee and client experience.

In a fast-growing startup environment, flexibility and ownership are essential. The ideal candidate is someone who can adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and confidently collaborate across Payroll, Employee Experience, Finance, Product, Commercial, and Vendor Management functions.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations & Coordination

  • Support and coordinate end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries and EOR partners.
  • Review payroll inputs, outputs, statutory contributions, invoices, and payroll reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payroll processing and salary disbursement.
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies, escalations, and employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support off-cycle payroll requests, adjustments, onboarding payroll readiness, and payroll-related documentation.
  • Review payroll invoices and coordinate invoice processing with Finance and payroll partners.

Onboarding & Payroll Readiness

  • Act as a key operational point of contact to ensure employees are fully set up before payroll processing.
  • Coordinate onboarding-related payroll requirements such as benefits enrollment, statutory registrations, insurance setup, banking details, tax documentation, and payroll profiles.
  • Work closely with Employee Onboarding/Offboarding, Lifecycle and Global Mobility teams to ensure smooth onboarding and lifecycle transitions.

Pre-Sales & Payroll Solutions Support

  • Support Commercial and Customer Success teams with payroll-related pre-sales queries and operational feasibility assessments.
  • Coordinate with EOR partners regarding payroll timelines, pay frequencies, statutory costs, benefits, onboarding timelines, and payroll practices.
  • Help ensure fast response times for client-facing payroll and operational requests.
  • Assist in preparing payroll-related operational insights, assumptions, and clarifications for quotations and client discussions.

Product & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to identify payroll process improvements and operational enhancements.
  • Provide feedback on payroll workflows, onboarding processes, reporting requirements, and automation opportunities based on operational experience.
  • Contribute to building scalable payroll processes and internal knowledge documentation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll operations, EOR operations, HR operations, or global workforce management.
  • Experience handling multi-country payroll or working with EOR/payroll providers is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll operations, onboarding coordination, and operational workflows.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and external vendors.
  • Experience with payroll platforms, HRIS, or operational systems is a plus.
  • Advanced English communication skills required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone proactive and responsive who thrives in a startup environment
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining speed and flexibility
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and stepping into different operational functions when needed
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to improve processes
  • Able to balance operational execution with problem-solving and stakeholder coordination
