They help companies convert legacy, custom, and hard-to-source parts into 3D-printable parts, then match those parts with the right suppliers, materials, and manufacturing processes. They are looking for a strong CAD Engineer in India who can help create, modify, reverse-engineer, and prepare parts for 3D printing.\nResponsibilities:\nProduct QA & Testing\n- Test customer and supplier web applications across core workflows.\n- Validate user signup, login, part upload, file processing, printability analysis, supplier matching, RFQ creation, quote submission, and order flows.\n- Create and maintain QA checklists, test cases, and regression test plans.\n- Test across browsers, devices, file types, and edge cases.\n- Identify bugs, reproduce them clearly, and document expected vs. actual behavior.\n- Verify bug fixes before release.\n- Help maintain release quality as new features ship quickly.\nApp Monitoring & Reliability\n- Monitor production applications to make sure core workflows are online and functioning.\n- Watch for failed uploads, broken pages, API errors, background job failures, and unusual customer behavior.\n- Escalate critical issues quickly and help triage root causes.\n- Help maintain uptime and customer trust by catching issues before customers do.\n- Create simple internal dashboards or alerts for product health.\n3D Printability Review\n- Review customer-uploaded files including CAD, PDFs, drawings, and part metadata.\n- Help assess whether parts appear suitable for 3D printing based on geometry, material, size, tolerance, and process constraints.\n- Flag common printability issues such as thin walls, unsupported features, overhangs, small holes, tolerance risks, warping risk, poor file quality, or missing information.\n- Work with engineering and domain experts to improve printability scoring and analysis workflows.\n- Help build internal printability review checklists and part-classification processes.\n- Compare automated printability outputs against human judgment and identify gaps.\nCustomer Behavior & Product Insights\n- Analyze how customers are using the platform.\n- Identify where users get stuck, abandon workflows, upload bad files, or fail to complete RFQs.\n- Review support issues, customer feedback, uploaded part data, and usage patterns.\n- Translate product usage observations into clear bug reports or product improvement suggestions.\n- Help the team understand what customers are actually trying to do, not just what the software says they did.\nAnalytics & Reporting\n- Create dashboards for product usage, customer activity, part uploads, RFQs, supplier responses, conversion funnels, and system errors.\n- Track key metrics such as:\n1. Signups\n2. Active users\n3. Part uploads\n4. Upload success/failure rates\n5. File types uploaded\n6. Printability analysis completion rate\n7. RFQs sent\n8. Supplier quote response rate\n9. Customer drop-off points\n- Use tools such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Mixpanel, Metabase, Supabase, SQL, or similar platforms.\n- Create weekly product quality and usage reports for the team.\nBug Fixing & Light Engineering\n- Investigate bugs in the frontend, backend, APIs, database, or integrations.\n- Make small code fixes independently where possible.\n- Work with engineers on larger issues and provide clear reproduction steps.\n- Help improve error handling, logging, validation, and user-facing messages.\n- Review code changes from a QA and product reliability perspective.\n- Contribute to internal tools, scripts, dashboards, or automation.\nRequired Skills:\n- 2-5 years of experience in QA, technical support engineering, product operations, analytics, or software engineering.\n- Strong ability to test web applications and document bugs clearly.\n- Basic full-stack development ability, ideally with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, and REST APIs.\n- Ability to read code, debug issues, and make small fixes.\n- Experience with browser dev tools, logs, network requests, APIs, and databases.\n- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Mixpanel, Metabase, Looker Studio, Supabase, or SQL dashboards.\n- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch edge cases.\n- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.\n- Strong written communication skills.\n- Ability to work independently and escalate issues clearly.\n3D / Manufacturing Skills\nPrior 3D printing experience is not mandatory, but the candidate should be excited to\nlearn additive manufacturing quickly.\nHelpful skills include:\n- Familiarity with CAD files such as STEP, STL, 3MF, IGES, DXF, DWG, and PDFs.\n- Basic understanding of 3D printing processes such as FDM, SLS, MJF, SLA, and metal additive manufacturing.\n- Ability to understand mechanical parts, drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and materials.\n- Experience with slicers, CAD viewers, mesh repair tools, or 3D printing workflows.\n- Interest in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial parts, or physical products.\nNice to Have:\n- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or automated testing.\n- Experience setting up monitoring, alerts, or error tracking using tools like Sentry, Datadog, LogRocket, New Relic, or similar.\n- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Render, Vercel, or Supabase.\n- Experience with GitHub, pull requests, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.\n- Experience with CAD, 3D printing, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing software.\n- Experience building dashboards or writing SQL queries.\n- Experience in a startup where responsibilities were broad and fast-moving.\nExample Projects:\n- Test whether a customer can upload a STEP file, get a printability analysis, and send an RFQ to suppliers.\n- Identify why uploaded PDFs are failing to process and file a clear bug report with logs and reproduction steps.\n- Create a dashboard showing daily part uploads, failed uploads, and RFQs sent.\n- Review 20 uploaded parts and classify which ones look printable vs. risky.\n- Find where customers are dropping off during onboarding.\n- Fix a frontend validation bug that prevents suppliers from submitting quotes.\n- Add better error messages when a CAD file cannot be processed.\n- Create a weekly report showing product health and user behavior.","description_format":"text","description_chars":6431,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United
