This role is responsible for system design, backend/frontend engineering, DevOps practices, and team execution, while partnering closely with the AI/ML Lead, Product Managers, and business stakeholders.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who can balance coding, architecture, and team guidance in a fast-growing company.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership & Delivery\nLead day-to-day engineering execution across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams. Own system design and architecture for Bay6.ai’s core platforms and products.\nEnsure scalable, maintainable, and secure implementations aligned with business needs. Collaborate closely with the AI/ML Lead to integrate AI capabilities into production systems. Participate actively in coding, code reviews, and design discussions.\nArchitecture & Engineering Practices\nDesign and maintain microservices-based architectures and APIs.\nDefine and enforce best practices for:\nCode quality and design patterns\nAutomated testing\nCI/CD and release management\nSecurity and performance\nReview technical designs and provide guidance to engineers.\nCloud, DevOps & Reliability\nOwn and manage AWS infrastructure and deployments.\nImprove CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring.\nEnsure system reliability, availability, and basic observability.\nAddress performance bottlenecks and production issues proactively.\nCollaboration & Mentorship\nWork closely with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
