We’re modernising our platforms end-to-end and shifting to cloud-native, scalable, event-driven architectures that will set the business up for the future.\nAs the AI Engineering Lead in our business you will design, develop, deploy and support secure, scalable and responsible AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.\nThe role combines software engineering, machine learning, generative AI and automation to build AI products, Co-pilots agents and intelligent workflows. Working across business and technology teams, the AI Engineer translates priority opportunities into production-ready solutions and supports adoption, monitoring and continuous improvement across the AI lifecycle.\nAt MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference.Your key responsibilities in this role will include:\nDesign, build, test and deploy AI, machine learning and generative AI solutions aligned to business priorities and approved architecture.\nDevelop Co-pilot, AI assistants, agents and intelligent automation that improve customer and employee outcomes, productivity and decision-making.\nTranslate business problems into practical AI use cases, technical requirements, solution designs and delivery plans.\nBuild retrieval-augmented generation solutions, prompt and orchestration patterns, APIs and integrations with enterprise applications and data platforms.\nPartner with Data Engineering to source, prepare and manage reliable data for AI solutions, including appropriate quality, access and lineage controls.\nApply software engineering, DevOps and MLOps practices including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, observability and support documentation.\nWork with Cyber Security, Privacy, Risk and AI Governance stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organisational policies, standards and regulatory obligations.\nTo be considered for this role you will have:\nTertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nDemonstrated experience designing and delivering AI, machine learning or generative AI solutions into production. \nStrong Python and software engineering skills, including APIs, automated testing, source control and CI/CD practices.\nExperience with cloud AI platforms and services.
