Our fiercely passionate employees and educational partners have helped drive phenomenal student growth, with Renaissance solutions being used in over one-third of US schools and in more than 100 countries worldwide.\nEvery day, we are connected to our mission by exemplifying our values: trust each other, win together, strive for the best, own our actions, and grow and evolve.\nJob Description\nThe role of Senior Psychometrician is to advance the state-of-the-art ineducational assessment through contributions to the development of computerized adaptive test(CAT) and other assessment instruments. \nIn this role as a Senior Psychometrician, you will be responsible for:\nBeing a mentor to lower-level Psychometricians \nManaging projects through product implementation and evaluation \nRepresenting the department to senior management and customer advocacy groups or committees \nExercising judgement of analysis, methodology and techniques to accomplish goals \nApplying knowledge of psychometrics and statistics to the design, development, and evaluation of tests \nPlanning advanced research studies, including item calibration and test norming studies \nAnalyzing item response, score distribution, reliability and validity research data as part of test development process \nDesigning and implementing psychometric studies to support new products or new product development \nCoordinating with Engineering, Content Development and other internal groups to deliver new products \nInvestigating and diagnosing complex anomalies, issues and customer concerns related to scores \nConforming with all safety rules and using safety equipment as appropriate to the role \nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialfunctionsatisfactorily. D.) andminimum 15years ofexperience in related field, ORequivalent combination of education and experience\nProficiency with PC, MS and virtual meeting software\nProficiency with statistical software packages (e.g.SAS) \nEducation research and measurement experience\nTest design and development experience\nExperience in applied measurement in an education setting is desired\nDemonstrated abilityto analyze and interpret statistical data\nExceptional English written and oral communication\nLeadership ability\nWriteresearch plans to achieve test development goals and obtain quality data\nKnowledge of CAT design, IRT, and statistical methods\nProject management skills, with emphasis on technical design and implementation of educational tests\nDemonstrated abilityto read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents\nDemonstrated abilityto respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community\nDemonstrated abilityto write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format\nDemonstrated abilityto effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors\nDemonstrated abilityto apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations\nDemonstrated abilityto apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis\nDemonstrated abilityto define problems, collect data, establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions\nDemonstrated abilityto interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables\nSalary Range: The base range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000.
