We’re now looking for talented people to help us build the future of low carbon energy.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial team.\nReporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial delivery of multiple projects, helping ensure they are delivered within budget while maximising commercial opportunities and managing risk. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams across Project Management, Finance, Installation, Sales and Design.\nResponsabilidades\nManaging project budgets, forecasts and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).\nMaximising commercial opportunities through variations and value engineering.\nManaging client, supplier and subcontractor relationships.\nSupporting contract and subcontract reviews and administration.\nProducing and negotiating variations using cost data, quotations and SORs.\nReviewing valuations, progress claims and cost reports.\nIdentifying and managing commercial risks across projects.\nWorking with Sales to identify estimating risks, scope gaps and opportunities to improve future projects.\nProviding commercial support and reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.\nRequisitos\nWe’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, analytical and enjoys working in a fast-paced, growing environment.You’ll ideally have:\nA Quantity Surveying degree, ideally at 2:1 or above.\nRelevant Quantity Surveying or commercial experience.\nExperience within the house-building sector is desirable.\nIntermediate to advanced Excel skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.\nExperience with cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.\nExperience with contracts and subcontract management.\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.\nThe ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.\nA proactive and adaptable approach, with a genuine interest in working in a high-growth business.\nBeneficios\nPrivate Medical Insurance following successful completion of your probationary period.\nSalary sacrifice Cycle to Work and Electric Vehicle schemes.\n£50 quarterly budget for a team social, or personal voucher of your choice.\n£30 monthly phone allowance.\nCompany social events and celebrations throughout the year.\nA collaborative and inclusive working environment.\nFurther training and development opportunities as we continue to grow.\nBe the change.\nJoin Rendesco and put your commercial expertise to work on projects helping to build a cleaner, greener Britain.\n\nAt Rendesco, we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
