Accounting & Financial Reporting\nLead the end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping function.\nEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures.\nReview and approve journal entries, provisions, accruals, reconciliations and accounting\nadjustments.\nPrepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and other financial statements.\nEnsure proper accounting of revenue, discounts, returns, schemes, marketplace settlements and\nother business transactions.\nEstablish and maintain robust accounting processes and controls.\n2. Audit & Compliance\nDrive statutory, tax, internal and other audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.\nEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act and other applicable statutory\nrequirements.\nCoordinate with auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors and other external stakeholders.\nEnsure timely preparation and filing of statutory returns and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain proper documentation and audit trails.\n3. Internal Controls & Process Improvement\nStrengthen accounting policies, SOPs and internal financial controls.\nIdentify process gaps and implement corrective measures.\nDrive automation and process improvements in accounting and reconciliation.\nEnsure appropriate segregation of duties and approval controls.\nSupport ERP implementation, process enhancements and finance digitisation initiatives.\n4. Inventory & Cost Accounting\nOversee inventory accounting and periodic reconciliation between books, ERP and physical\ninventory.\nMonitor inventory valuation, provisions, ageing, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.\nEnsure appropriate accounting of purchase, landed cost, freight, warehousing and other\ninventory-related expenses.\nWork closely with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams on inventory controls and reconciliation.\n5. Working Capital & Cash Flow\nPrepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury planning.\nMonitor customer collections and vendor payment cycles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cash conversion and working capital efficiency.\n6. Team & Stakeholder Management\nLead and mentor the Accounts team.\nSet clear responsibilities, timelines and performance expectations for the team.\nWork closely with Finance, Business, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, Admin and IT teams.\nPartner with senior leadership on financial and operational matters.\nCoordinate effectively with banks, auditors, consultants, vendors and other external\nstakeholders.\nKey Deliverables / Success Metrics\nTimely and accurate monthly financial closure.\nAccuracy and integrity of books of accounts.\nTimely statutory and tax compliance.\nZero / minimal audit observations and timely closure of open points.\nImproved receivables, payables and working capital management.\nStrong inventory and financial controls.\nAutomation and reduction of manual accounting and reconciliation processes.\nQualification & Skills:\nQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience.\nStrong experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audit and compliance.\nExperience in FMCG, D2C, E-commerce, Retail, Consumer Brands or a fast-growing\norganisation will be preferred.\nStrong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax and Companies Act, SEBI listing\nrequirements.\nExperience handling marketplace, payment gateway and multi-channel reconciliations will be\nan advantage.\nStrong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth
