Global Cash and Liquidity Management\nLead global cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash visibility across all regions.\nEnsure adequate liquidity to support manufacturing operations, capital expenditures, R&D investments, and working capital needs.\nOptimize global cash allocation across subsidiaries while considering tax, regulatory, and operational constraints.\nOversee cash pooling, intercompany funding, dividend planning, and repatriation strategies.\nImprove the accuracy and discipline of short-term and long-term cash forecasting.\n2. Funding and Capital Structure\nSupport the CFO and senior management in developing and executing global funding strategies.\nEvaluate financing alternatives together with other functions within the company, including bank loans, bonds, hybrid financing, and other capital market instruments.\nManage debt maturity profiles, refinancing plans, borrowing capacity, and covenant compliance.\nLead negotiations with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable financing terms.\nProvide analysis and recommendations on capital structure optimization, leverage, cost of capital, and liquidity buffers.\nStructure, evaluate, and negotiate acquisition finance schemes for strategic M&A transactions, including bridge loans, term loans, committed acquisition facilities, bonds, convertible bonds, hybrid financing, equity linked instruments and other financing alternatives, in close coordination with internal stakeholders and external financial advisors.\n3. Foreign Exchange and Financial Risk Management\nLead global FX risk management across transactional, translational, and economic exposures.\nDevelop and implement hedging strategies for major currencies relevant to the business.\nOversee execution of FX forwards, swaps, options, and other hedging instruments as appropriate.\nMonitor interest rate risk, counterparty risk, commodity-related financial exposure, and other market risks.\nEnsure compliance with internal treasury policies and applicable accounting requirements for hedge accounting where relevant.\n4. Bank Relationship Management\nManage strategic relationships with global and regional banks.\nLead bank negotiations, including pricing, credit facilities, transaction banking services, and FX execution terms.\nRationalize and optimize the global bank account structure to improve control, efficiency, and visibility.\nEvaluate banking partners based on service quality, credit capacity, geographic coverage, pricing, and strategic value.\nMaintain strong external relationships with banks, rating agencies, auditors, insurance brokers, and other financial advisors.\n5. Treasury Operations and Governance\nEstablish and maintain global treasury policies, procedures, and controls.\nEnsure strong governance over payments, bank account administration, manual payments, signatory controls, and fraud risk mitigation.\nDrive standardization and automation of treasury processes across regions.\nOversee treasury systems, bank connectivity, payment platforms, and ERP integration.\nPartner with Accounting, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Internal Audit, and IT to ensure robust treasury operations and compliance.\n6. Insurance and Risk Financing\nOversee or coordinate global insurance programs, including property, casualty, D&O, cyber, and other corporate insurance programs.\nWork with insurance brokers and internal stakeholders to assess coverage adequacy, risk retention levels, deductibles, and premium efficiency.\nSupport claims management and insurance renewal processes.\nEvaluate risk financing strategies aligned with the company’s operational and financial risk profile.\n7. Strategic Initiatives and Transformation\nLead treasury transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, control, analytics, and scalability.\nSupport global ERP transformation projects, treasury management system implementation, and bank connectivity optimization.\nDevelop strategic treasury analytics and dashboards for senior management.\nIdentify opportunities to centralize, automate, and digitize treasury operations.\nSupport M&A, post-merger integration, business restructuring, and regional expansion from a treasury perspective.\n8. Stakeholder Management and Leadership\nAct as a strategic treasury advisor to senior management.\nProvide treasury updates and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership.\nLead and develop a global treasury team with strong technical capability and business partnership mindset.\nCollaborate effectively with regional finance teams and business leaders.\nBuild organizational capability in treasury governance, risk management, and financial discipline.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.\nMinimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or related finance roles.\nSignificant experience in a multinational manufacturing or technology company.\nStrong knowledge of global cash management, FX risk management, debt financing, banking, and treasury controls.\nExperience managing treasury activities across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.\nProven track record of negotiating with banks and financial institutions.\nStrong understanding of financial statements, accounting, tax, and legal implications of treasury transactions.\nBusiness-level fluency in English.\nJapanese language capability is highly preferred, especially for interaction with Japan headquarters and local financial institutions.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.\nExperience working in a Japanese-headquartered multinational company.\nExperience with SAP, S/4HANA, treasury management systems, bank connectivity platforms, or payment factory structures.\nExperience in capital markets transactions, credit rating agency interactions, or large-scale refinancing.\nKnowledge of IFRS.\nProfessional
