The innovative strength of our international team is visible in our day-to-day work and the products we bring to the market.\nRenesas Electronics Corporation is a dynamic organization that you will be part of and as such you will be helping to address the rising demand of NFC in applications such as Fintec, IOT, asset tracking, wireless charging and automotive applications.\nCurrently, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Operations manager (f/m/d) to strengthen our team and drive for operational excellence.\nJob summary\nAs an Engineering Operations Manager you are responsible for driving operational excellence across our engineering organization by establishing scalable processes, improving productivity, enabling planning and execution, and providing data-driven insights. This role partners closely with engineering leadership, product management, program management, finance, HR, and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of engineering objectives and strategic initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership, analytical capabilities, program management expertise, and a deep understanding of semiconductor engineering organizations and the semiconductor product lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and manage operational execution quality, driving execution, and ensuring accountability\nInspire and coach an organization of team members & team leaders to achieve our objectives.\nSupport annual and quarterly planning processes, including roadmap updates, and resource planning.\nEstablish and improve engineering governance, processes, and best practices.\nDeliver executive-level reporting and provide key insights for leadership.\nIdentify risks, dependencies, and blockers and facilitate resolution.\nMaintain visibility into program health, milestones, and delivery commitments.\nSupport headcount planning, workforce management, and organizational design.\nPartner with finance on budget forecasting, tracking, and spend management.\nStandardize operational processes, best practices and documentation.\nImplement tools and systems that enhance collaboration, planning, and execution.\nEngage in stakeholder management and ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering priorities.\nBachelor/Masters/PhD Engineering degree in Electronics / Computer Science with industry experience of more than 10+ years.\nExperience in Engineering leadership and proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives in large engineering organizations.\nBackground in technical program management or engineering leadership.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor lifecycle and related engineering processes.\nExperience in NFC/RFID and/or other wireless radio technologies is highly desirable, but not a must-have.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong executive communication and presentation skills.\nExperience with documentation and reporting tools such as Jira / Confluence, Power BI, or similar is a plus.\n This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year.
