The internship has a duration of six months to be spent in the new Renesas design center located in Catania, Italy. Objective of the internship is to perform research and development in the silicon validation automation domain with a special focus on Power Management IC. During the internship, the candidate will join the Performance Computing Power team in Catania working side by side with experienced engineers that will provide guidance and support throughout any technical challenge.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and optimize advanced laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation\n\nDevelop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts using Python.\n\nValidate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.\n\nPerform data acquisition, statistical analysis, result correlation, and preparation of detailed technical reports.\n\nCollaborate closely with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product and Test Engineers.\n\n Proficiency with any programming language (Python is a plus).\n\nBasic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronic\n\nAble read board level analog and digital PCB schematics\n\nGood communication skills\n\nCross cultural awareness and sensitivity within multisite and multicultural environments\n\nExcellent command of verbal and written English\n\n Compensation : EUR 1000 gross per month\nRenesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier.
