Supplier Quality Management & Liaison\nAct as the primary quality interface between suppliers and Renesas, ensuring alignment with quality requirements, business objectives, and customer expectations. Serve as the regional SQE focal point for assigned suppliers and manufacturing sites.\n2. Quality Excursion Management & Corrective Actions\nLead investigations of quality excursions across internal operations, suppliers, and customers using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D), and drive effective containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions to closure.\n3. Supplier Audit, Certification & Change Control\nPlan and execute supplier audit programs, lead supplier certification activities, and ensure effective management of process, material, and site changes.\n4. Supplier Assessment, Qualification & Performance Management\nLead supplier assessments and qualifications for new subcontractors, manage supplier quality rating and performance through KPIs and scorecards, and drive improvement actions to achieve Renesas quality objectives.\n5. Continuous Improvement Leadership\nLead quality improvement initiatives, analyze quality trends and systemic risks, manage supplier escalation activities, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements across supplier operations.\n6. Training & Best Practice Deployment\nDrive supplier quality capability development through training, coaching, and deployment of best-known methods and quality management practices.\n Must (Required)\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline\nMin 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including supplier quality, manufacturing, process engineering, or quality engineering\nStrong knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes, including bumping processes and FCBGA package assembly, and related quality control methodologies\nHands-on experience with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone analysis, and other structured problem-solving methodologies\nKnowledge and practical application of ISO9001, IATF16949, and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions\nAuditing experience based on ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirements\nFluent English and Chinese\nWant (Preferred)\nCertified Lead Auditor for ISO9001 and/or IATF16949\nExperience with advanced semiconductor packaging technologies\nProven ability to influence suppliers and drive quality improvements\nExperience in regional or global supplier quality management\nExperience leading cross-functional quality initiatives \nExperience coaching or mentoring engineers\nUnderstanding of Japanese business culture and ways of working\n Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier.
