You will have a strongly cross-functional experience by interfacing with internal wafer foundry, quality and marketing departments and external OSATs. You will help our team allocate the materials and coordinate the movement of multiple GaN engineering lots through wafer fab, packaging OSAT, testing OSAT and qualification. You’ll help us draft test plans and analyze test results, gaining insight into GaN products and technologies. You’ll help us define development strategies and take critical decisions, closely interacting with California, and with the fabrication facilities in Japan and Southeast Asia.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate the movement of multiple GaN product engineering lots through wafer fab, assembly, and testing. Ensure timely project execution from start to finish.\nAllocate materials to meet qualification and customer sampling plans.\nAnalyze on-wafer and in-package test results. Ensure compliance with design specifications.\nDrive root cause investigation for performance, quality or yield issues.\nGenerate reports for internal and external communication.\nMaintain up-to-date GANTT charts with project schedule and negotiate priorities when needed.\nTrack and communicate project status, key results, risks, and problems.\n PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree + 3 years of experience).\nFamiliarity with semiconductor manufacturing flow (wafer fab, probe, packaging and testing).\nProficient in data manipulation and analysis skill. Familiar with JMP and MS Office.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\nExceptional time management skill.\nSelf-motivated and adaptable. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.\nExpertise on GaN products and technologies is a plus.\nFamiliarity with reliability physics and failure analysis is a plus.\nFamiliarity with JEDEC and AEC-Q101 qualification standards is a plus.\n Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier.
