The candidate will work closely with product development teams to deliver robust ESD and Latch-Up protection solutions for automotive, industrial, power, and mixed-signal applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport ESD and Latch-Up design reviews for High Voltage BCD products.\nDesign and optimize ESD protection structures for analog, power, and mixed-signal ICs.\nDevelop and maintain design guidelines and best practices.\nPerform ESD characterization using HBM, CDM, and TLP methodologies.\nSupport silicon debug, reliability investigations, and failure analysis activities.\nCollaborate with foundries and technology development teams.\nSupport development and qualification of ESD libraries and protection devices.\nParticipate in product risk assessment and drive ESD design sign-off activities with internal design teams and customers.\n Required Qualifications\nM.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.\n5+ years of semiconductor ESD design experience.\nKnowledge of: ESD devices physics, HBM, CDM, TLP methodologies, Latch-Up, High Voltage BCD technologies\nStrong understanding of High Voltage BCD device structures, isolation techniques, and reliability challenges.\nHands-on experience with High Voltage BCD technologies and ESD protection design for analog, power, or mixed-signal products.\nFamiliar with Cadence tool flow for analog IC development\nFamiliarity with ESD verification tools such as Calibre PERC.\nExperience performing silicon characterization and failure analysis.\nTechnical writing skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports, design reviews, and engineering recommendations.\nCommunication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical risks, recommendations, and methodologies across global teams including Japan and Asia.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with IEC/EMC or system-level ESD considerations\n\n Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier.
