If you seek a place to shine with no artificial barriers apply now!\nKey Responsibilities\nLead software and system validation planning and execution of embedded products, applications and solutions utilizing a wide portfolio of Renesas products\nDrive system level software technical decisions, ensuring robustness, usability and completeness of embedded solutions\nCollaborate closely with systems, firmware/software, validation, and product engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.\nIdentify and mitigate system-level technical risks, ensuring highest user experience\nPlanning and execution of new product prototype bring-up, bench-testing, and evaluation. \nSupport creation and review of technical documentation (Datasheets, User Manuals/Guides, Application Notes)\nContribute to reference designs, development platforms, and documentation to enable broad customer adoption.\nGather and drive clarity on software requirements from diverse groups including customers, application engineers, hardware, and firmware engineers\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering\n 5-7 years experience in embedded firmware/software development required across multiple IoT application segments\nStrong understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testing approaches\nKnowledge of ARM and RISC processors\nHigh-level of proficiency in C/C++, Embedded C programming\nProven experience delivering production-quality embedded software for MCU and MPU based platforms.\nGood understanding of motor control software, real-time systems, and embedded development workflows.\nWorking knowledge (hands-on preferred) of one or more host-side technology stacks, such as:C/C++/ RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)\nC#/.NET / Python (automation/tools, GUIs, packaging)\n\nExperience integrating host utilities with embedded targets over common interfaces (e.g., USB, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) across OS environments.\nExperience in developing Agentic Tools\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy \nDemonstrates creative thinking in debug and troubleshooting skills and building solutions\nExperience in DevOps including JIRA, Confluence and GitLab preferred\nMust have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills\nAbility to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience supporting embedded development platforms or reference designs with broad customer adoption across Robotics, Edge AI and Industrial IoT applications\nExecute firmware validation of boot flows, power/clock/reset, memory subsystems, interconnects, and interfaces across stress, corner, and fault scenarios.\nDrive system bring-up on evaluation boards, development boards and reference designs\nAnalyze validation data and logs, track issues through structured closure, and contribute to quality metrics.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the validation team.\n Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier.
