In this role, you will own the full development lifecycle of embedded electronic systems - from concept and architecture through hardware design, PCB layout, and firmware implementation.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and develop electronic systems from requirements to production, including power supply design, signal conditioning, communication interfaces, and mixed-signal circuits.\nPerform schematic capture using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium).\nExecute PCB layout, routing, and design rule review for multi-layer boards, ensuring signal integrity, EMC compliance, and thermal performance.\nWrite and maintain hardware design documentation, including schematics, BOM, and design verification reports.\nLead PCB design reviews.\nImplement and optimize peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet) and communication stacks.\nWrite clean, maintainable C/C++ code following embedded best practices, including memory management, interrupt handling, and low-power design.\nPerform bring-up, debugging, and root cause analysis of complex hardware/firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debug tools.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level requirements are met and properly validated.\n Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems engineering in a professional setting.\nStrong proficiency in C/C++ firmware development for 32-bit ARM MCUs or MPUs.\nSolid understanding of digital and analog circuit design, including power electronics fundamentals.\nExperience with embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet).\nProficiency with debug tools: JTAG/SWD probes, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters.\nAbility to read and interpret datasheets, application notes, and reference manuals independently.\nStrong documentation habits and experience with version control systems (Git).\nNICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)\nCandidates with any of the following will be given strong preference:\nEmbedded Linux experience - Embedded Linux:\nBoard bring-up, device tree configuration, and kernel/driver development.\nYocto Project or Ubuntu for custom Linux distribution builds.\nFamiliarity with Linux IPC mechanisms, system services, and application development.\n Motor control and power electronics - Motor Control & Power Systems:\nField-Oriented Control (FOC) / BLDC / PMSM motor drive design and implementation.\nPower electronics design: DC-DC converters, motor driver stages, gate drive circuits.\nExperience with motor control libraries or DSPs.\n The expected annual pay range for this position is $109,500 - $171,150. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay.
