Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring employees follow safety compliance.\nAudit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate.\nCommunicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly meetings, regular individual meetings, coaching and training.\nManage employee performance and assist in coaching, mentoring and administering performance reviews. Recommend, plan and/or implement employee training and skill development.\nAdhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality.\nConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and mentor the Receiving Team\nQualifications\nPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\nExcellent attention to detail, time management skills and meeting deadlines\nPositive attitude and ability to handle highly confidential information\nAbility to reflect positive attitude and disciplined work ethic\nAbility to work independently\nHigh energy level\nStrong interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated experience in being a self-starter\nAbility to deal with internal/external customers with enthusiasm and professionalism \nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential \nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nRequired high school diploma or equivalent education.\nSecondary education a plus.\nPrevious supervisory experience beneficial.\nPrevious warehouse/distribution experience preferred\nHigh motivation and good organizational skills.\nCertification as forklift operator and use manual pallet jacks.\nRequired good mathematics, reading, and communication skills;\nValid Drivers License\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY\nProficient computer skillsincluding Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365.\nHigher Excel skills necessary.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service skills required.\nCritical thinking - ability to devise plans of action and assess those plans regularly \nAbility to effectively handle multiple orders, people and many moving pieces with the DC\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
