Primary responsibilities include installation and training of Renishaw machine tool products at customer facilities. Internally, the role requires interfacing with Customer Service, Marketing and National Sales. Individual will be involved with generation of quotes and presentations along with supporting trade shows. The work involves extensive travel centered from Cincinnati, Ohio.\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities\nInstallation of Renishaw Machine Tool Products on CNC machines\nDevelop hardware/software solutions based on customer requirements\nGenerate and install software for Renishaw products\nConduct training on Renishaw Machine Tool Products at customer sites\nConduct product training for Renishaw staff\nProvide technical support for sales and marketing\nWork closely with UK product development team\nAssist with introduction of new products\nSetup and attend trade shows\nOther duties as assigned or requested\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience: Minimum\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Engineer Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience\nMinimum 3 years of Electrical skills (understanding of schematics/relays/wiring/PLC)\nMinimum 3 years of experience with the operation of CNC machine tools\nMinimum 3 years of experience with CNC programming (G/M code)\nThis position may require the use of, and access to, ITAR controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such ITAR controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws. \nEducation and Experience:Preferred\nGeneral experience with using CAD/CAM/solid modeling software\nGeneral experience with a variety of CNC machine types and controls\nGeneral knowledge of custom macro / parametric programming\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies\nMust be comfortable operating and programming CNC equipment and working in a manufacturing environment.\nWork with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues\nMechanical aptitude (including experience with use of power and hand tools/cable routing/assembly)\nElectrical aptitude (including experience with multi-meter, wiring diagrams, wiring relays etc.)\nAbility to comprehend and produce technical documentation and presentations\nUnderstanding of engineering drawings and measurement principals (including GD&T)\nMicrosoft product knowledge\nInformation Technology knowledge\nBe organized and capable of scheduling work, setting priorities, and coordinating with customers\nInterpersonal skillsVerbal\nWritten\nConflict-management\n\nCompensation Range (Annual)\n$85,000 to $105,000(depending on level and location)\nIn an effort to comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates regarding cash compensation, Renishaw sets standard pay ranges for all U.S.-based roles as established by job function, level, and geographic location.
