Working closely with our Senior Graphic Designer, you will create and develop a wide range of high-quality marketing materials that support our products and global sales.\nThis is a dedicated graphic design role that requires a strong understanding of professional design principles, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency, combined with practical experience of Adobe Creative Cloud.\nWe are looking for someone who understands the value of thoughtful design in communicating complex information. The successful candidate will be able to apply strong design thinking to create clear, engaging, and effective communications for a technical engineering audience.\nPrincipal duties and responsibilities\nCreating and producing brochures, flyers, advertisement and other technical documents\nDesigning content for digital communications and campaign assets\nSupporting Product Managers with customer facing visuals for presentations\nCreating infographics and diagrams for marketing and sales communications\nImage editing, retouching and asset preparation for different platforms\nPreparing artwork for digital and professional print production in multiple languages\nMaintaining brand consistency across all company materials\nMaking amendments and updates to existing artwork where required\nSupporting wider marketing activity and other creative projects as required\nKey requirements\nBA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design\nPrevious experience working as a Graphic Designer, either industrial placement and/or with industry experience\nWe are looking for someone with strong design fundamentals, demonstrable Adobe skills and genuine enthusiasm for graphic design as a profession\nApplicants must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:Adobe InDesign, including paragraph and character styles, master/parent pages, grids, document structure and preparation of artwork for print\nAdobe Illustrator, including illustrations, icons and diagrams,\nAdobe Photoshop, including image correction, retouching, resizing of images specific print and digital use\n\nKnowledge, skills and abilities\nA genuine grounding in graphic design principles, including typography, composition, colour, hierarchy, grids and visual communication\nThe ability to interpret a brief and turn it into effective visual content\nStrong attention to detail and understanding of typographic pacing, content/narrative flow\nAn understanding of RGB, CMYK, spot colours, image resolution, file formats, bleed and print production requirement\nGood organisational skills with the ability to work to deadline and manage multiple projects\nClear communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions and openness to creative direction and feedback\nAn interest in using design to make complex or technical information engaging and easy to understand\nDesirable skills\nExperience in any of the following would be advantageous but not essential:\nAdobe After Effects and Premiere Pro\nAdobe Firefly\nMotion graphics\nPhotography\nPresentation design\nDesigning technical or complex information for non-technical audiences\nBenefits\nWhen you join Renishaw, we're committing to your future career.
