This role reports to the Governance Risk and Compliance Manager and gives an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of Renishaw’s IT compliance and Quality.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the continual development and monitoring of compliance and information security practices.\nAssist in the management of the Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO27001\nAssist in emerging compliance accreditations.\nAssist in internal and external audit activities\nImplement and maintain governance policies and controls, making effective use of Microsoft Purview tooling\nCollect, correlate, and analyse data from various sources\nMonitor security alerts - including related to suspected attacks, data loss prevention and exfiltration\nCollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across Renishaw to align security and compliance posture, and to meet regulatory requirements.\nAssist in the development and delivery of compliance and security training programs.\nBe an ambassador across Renishaw for physical, procedural, compliance and technical security controls\nRequirements\n\nIdeally an awareness of Microsoft Purview products.\nCloud security technologies and confident application of their capabilities, particularly Azure\nAn understanding of ISO27001 and its implementation within Renishaw.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft SQL Server and will be advantageous\nAs the successful candidate you will\nTreat all information you are exposed to with the highest confidentiality\nJoin a highly collaborative Compliance and Information Security team\nInfluence individuals and teams to adopt improving compliance and security practices, ensuring the safety and security of our customers, partners and our business\nHave a network of contacts and resources to bring diverse approaches and ways of thinking\nBe excited about encouraging compliance and security innovation, culturally and across our technology stack, by engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams \nApply your knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations, rapidly absorbing and applying new information, and knowing when to seek specialist compliance and security knowledge or advice\nEnjoy investigating and resolving issues, taking a logical approach with high attention to detail\nBe a strong communicator, in writing and verbally, to both technical and non-technical audiences\nContribute to the development of others’ knowledge and skills\nTake personal responsibility and plan your own work to meet objectives, exercising autonomy within a framework\nBenefits\nWhen you join Renishaw, we're committing to your future career.
