This role is responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to meet business needs.\nPlease note as part of your role, you may be required to provide cover for Goods-In at our headquarters in Wotton-under-Edge.\nWorking hours 4 weeks of your chosen variable working pattern (eg Mon -Thur 7am -3:30pm and Fri 7am-12pm). Then 4 weeks of Mon - Thurs 7am-3pm and Fri 7:30am-3pm\nResponsibilities\nPerform a wide range of warehouse operations to support the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods - typically in a specific area of the department.\n\nComply with company Health & Safety requirements, Quality standards, and applicable local operating procedures.\n\nPerform a wide range of system transactions to support the warehouse operations.\n\nHave strong communication skills (written and verbal) as the role involves interaction with both departmental staff and others across the business.\n\nMaintain a positive, professional attitude and be adaptable to respond to the evolving needs of the department/business.\n\nKey Requirements\nA good level of literacy and attention to detail is required in the role to deal with various warehouse and order related information.\n\nThe ideal candidate should be capable of working efficiently in an environment that may occasionally be physically demanding.\n\nGood level of computer literacy - experience of using Microsoft Office software (eg: Outlook).\n\nGood awareness and attitude to health & safety.\n\nDesirable Requirements\nCurrent Fork Lift truck licence is preferable, although training will be provided.\n\nPrevious experience of working in a warehouse or stores environment.\n\nPrevious experience of using company stock control/ERP systems.\n\nPerson Specification\nThe successful applicant will be required to carry out general warehouse duties in a busy environment, handling domestic and international goods.
