Managing the complete service cycle from identifying technical problems to solving them. This role is key to the continued success and growth of our business.\nGlobally and independently carry out and lead repairs and inspections of gearboxes including attached systems for Schelde Gears and the Renk Group.\nSupervise assembling and commissioning of new gearboxes.\nTroubleshooting of e.g. hydraulic and PLC controlled systems.\nReporting and advising the management and customer.\nQualifications\nEducational Background: Completed at least MBO-4 education in mechanical engineering or marine mechanical engineering.\nTechnical & Client Affinity: A strong understanding of both technical products and client needs.\nPersonal Quality and attitude: Flexible, independent, client and a result oriented attitude. Problem solving abilities and good contact skills. Willingness to travel globally extensively.\n Experience: Experience in the maritime industry or service sector is an advantage. Experience with (ship) propulsion installations. Affinity with modern control techniques.\nLanguages: Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.\nReporting Skills: Basic reporting skills in MS Office.\nResidence: Living in the west of the Netherlands.\nWhat We Offer\nProfound training in our market, products and processes on the job.
