You’ll work closely with site leadership, manufacturing, engineering, quality, contractors, and frontline teams to identify risks, solve problems, and ensure our people and facility are positioned to operate safely and effectively.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation-someone who can develop strong programs and long-term plans while also stepping onto the manufacturing floor, troubleshooting an issue, coordinating a repair, or helping the team respond to an emerging need.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead Environmental, Health & Safety\nLead and continuously improve site EHS programs to maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local requirements.\n\nConduct inspections and risk assessments, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.\n\nLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement actions to prevent recurrence.\n\nMaintain required EHS records, permits, reporting, and regulatory documentation.\n\nBuild a strong safety culture through training, communication, and partnership with employees and leaders.\n\nKeep Our Facility Running Reliably\nOversee facility infrastructure, utilities, building systems, security, grounds, and services supporting site operations.\n\nManage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective actions to improve reliability and minimize downtime.\n\nManage contractors, service providers, service agreements, and related purchasing.\n\nMaintain required facility inspections, permits, certifications, and maintenance records.\n\nLead Facility Projects & Improvements\nPlan and lead facility repairs, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects.\n\nPartner across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Operations to prioritize facility and infrastructure needs.\n\nSupport operating budgets, capital planning, space planning, and site expansion.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, workplace conditions, energy efficiency, and site readiness.\n\nDrive Site Readiness & Continuous Improvement\nLead the Emergency Response Team and maintain emergency preparedness and fire prevention programs.\n\nCoordinate EHS training, emergency drills, and ongoing readiness activities.\n\nServe as the primary site resource for EHS and facilities, providing practical guidance and driving issues through resolution.\n\nCommunicate risks, priorities, and performance to leadership while building shared accountability for a safe, compliant, and reliable workplace.\n\nSupport other projects and assignments as needed.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n14+ years (H.S. Diploma) | 12+ years (A.A.) | 7+ years (Bachelor's) | 5+ years (Master's)\n\n5+ years of progressive experience across EHS, facilities, plant operations, maintenance, or related functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\n\nExperience overseeing facility infrastructure, building systems, preventive maintenance, contractors/service providers, and facility improvement projects.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining EHS programs and applying OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulatory requirements to site operations.\n\nExperience operating in a complex, cross-functional manufacturing environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and other functions.\n\nCurrent First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn facility, maintenance, and other business systems.\n\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or similar professional certification preferred.\n\nHAZWOPER and/or HAZMAT certification preferred.\n\nWho You Are\nStrong knowledge of EHS principles, facility operations, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\n\nExperience with facility infrastructure, building systems, preventive maintenance, contractor management, and general facility operations.\n\nThe ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into practical, sustainable programs.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.\n\nExperience planning and coordinating maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.\n\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities, vendors, projects, and programs without losing attention to detail or follow-through.\n\nStrong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence decisions and drive accountability without relying on direct authority.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills across frontline employees, leadership, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.\n\nStrong judgment and a proactive approach to identifying safety, compliance, facility reliability, and operational risks.\n\nA continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make the workplace safer, more reliable, and more effective.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nRegularly move throughout an active manufacturing facility using designated walkways and access routes.\n\nSit or remain stationary for extended periods while completing computer-based work, documentation, and reporting.\n\nRegularly communicate verbally and in writing with employees, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.\n\nOccasionally lift, move, or adjust objects weighing up to 50 pounds.\n\nSafely use appropriate tools and equipment as needed during facility inspections, troubleshooting, and Emergency Response Team activities.\n\nPerform repetitive motions associated with computer and documentation work.\n\nRead and review documents, equipment information, signage, and computer screens with appropriate visual acuity.\n\nWork safely within an active manufacturing environment and comply with required PPE and site safety practices.\n\nJob Type: On-Site\nJob Location: Woburn, MA.
