You'll set up and run production, maintain high quality standards, troubleshoot issues, and help us continuously improve how we work.\nWhat You'll Do\nSet up and operate CNC equipment across multiple platforms, including fixturing, tooling, datums, work offsets, and first-piece validation.\n\nMonitor part quality and machine performance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other hand metrology tools.\n\nTroubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, workholding, materials, and machine performance.\n\nSupport process improvements by identifying opportunities to improve tooling, fixturing, setup, and workflow efficiency.\n\nMaintain accurate production records in ProShop ERP, including job time, status updates, and production notes.\n\nMaintain shop standards by deburring and cleaning parts, performing routine machine maintenance, following 5S practices, and keeping your workspace safe and organized.\n\nContribute to the team by sharing knowledge, participating in training, and helping reinforce machining best practices.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nH.S. Diploma & 4+ years of relevant experience; or A.A. in Manufacturing, Machining Technology, or a related field & 2+ years of relevant experience.\n\nRelevant experience includes hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or mill-turn equipment.\n\nExperience using hand metrology tools and interpreting technical setup documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with Haas, Okuma, and/or Heidenhain controls preferred.\n\nProShop ERP or similar manufacturing ERP experience is a plus.\n\nStrong CNC setup skills, including tooling, workholding, offsets, and first-piece validation.\n\nAbility to read setup sheets, work instructions, technical drawings, and GD&T.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot machining and process issues.\n\nClear communication and ability to work effectively with machinists, programmers, engineers, and other team members.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.\nRegularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout an active manufacturing environment.\n\nLift and carry parts, materials, tooling, and fixturing; occasionally up to 50 lbs. Team lifts are required for heavier items.\n\nUse hand metrology instruments and precision tooling requiring manual dexterity and repetitive hand or wrist movements.\n\nRead technical documentation and visually inspect machined components.\n\nWear required PPE on the shop floor, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.\n\nOvertime may be available and is occasionally required.
