This position is hands-on - ideal for someone who enjoys digging into the details of the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial accuracy while also helping to improve structure and efficiency as the company continues to expand. You will collaborate closely with the accounting team to maintain strong financial controls and deliver timely, accurate reporting that supports business decisions.\nRequirements\nRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:\nPerform and oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation\nMaintain and reconcile the general ledger across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency\nPrepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations to ensure data integrity\nSupport consolidation of financial results across business units and assist with intercompany eliminations\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with the Controller and Finance team\nMonitor and improve accounting processes, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and accuracy\nAssist in implementing new accounting systems, procedures, and controls to support company growth\nSupport annual audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed\nPrepare ad hoc analyses, reports, and schedules for leadership and other departments as requested\nCollaborate with operations teams to ensure job cost reporting and financial data align with business performance\nMentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required\nAt least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on general ledger responsibility\nExperience working in both public and private accounting environments preferred\nStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting\nExperience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems preferred\nConstruction or multi-entity industry experience a plus\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset\nOTHER:\nAll offers of employment are contingent upon a drug panel and a background check\nYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines\nSalary Description\n$80K -
