This role requires hands-on equipment experience operating a forklift and ideally pole lift operation. This role requires independent judgment in production cutting, load handling, and prioritizing distribution tasks to meet daily goals. This person will work closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.\nRequirements\nRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:\nOperate production cutting equipment safely and accurately to prepare materials for distribution, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met\nOperate forklifts (including pole lift attachments), order pickers, and pallet jacks to move, stage, and load/unload materials\nReceive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies\nAccurately record and label received and cut items, organizing them in designated storage locations\nRetrieve, cut, and pack materials for customer/branch orders according to picking lists and packing instructions\nPrepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely, labeling with shipping information, and coordinating carrier pickup or delivery\nPerform regular inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies\nAssist with inventory replenishment by restocking and picking materials as needed\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environment \nFollow all safety protocols related to cutting equipment, forklift/pole lift operation, and general warehouse safety\nCollaborate with warehouse team members and department supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production and distribution goals\nProvide guidance or informal support to less-experienced warehouse staff as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned by warehouse management or supervisory staff\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred\nForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus;
