This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and upholding warehouse safety standards. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.\nRequirements\nRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:\nSafe use of production equipment to include, but not limited to floor cutting machine, order picker, pallet jack, forklift\nReceive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies\nAccurately record and label received items, and organize them in designated storage locations within the warehouse\nRetrieve and pack materials and products for customer orders according to picking lists and packing instructions\nPrepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely, labeling packages with shipping information, and arranging for carrier pickup or delivery\nPerform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies\nAssist with inventory replenishment by restocking shelves and picking materials from storage locations as needed\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by sweeping floors, emptying trash bins, and keeping aisles and storage areas clear of obstructions\nOperate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently to move materials and products as required\nFollow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues\nCollaborate with other warehouse team members and department supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals\nPerform other duties as assigned by warehouse management or supervisory staff\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred\nForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus\nBasic math and computer skills, including the ability to use inventory management software and handheld devices\nPhysical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis\nAttention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, labeling, and recording inventory\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team\nWillingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures\nOTHER:\nAll offers of employment are contingent upon a background check\nValid Driver's License is required\nYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines\nSalary Description\n$17 -
