Responsible for running all production lines and the quality of products coming from those lines. Ability to direct personnel towards the production and safety goals for the plant. Decision-making and problem-solving take the maximum amount of time every day.\n\nESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRequired Skills/Abilities: \nPlan production schedule, communicate and track schedule with production team.\nWork with production team to assign the necessary resources towards each respective department. \nDirect production and maintenance personnel to optimize and maintain all equipment.\nMonitor processes and adjust to maximize efficiency.\nRun the preventative maintenance system to ensure machine effectiveness.\nWork with all departments to maintain a flow of efficient jobs throughout the plant.\nWork with other managers and staff to implement company policies.\nAnalyze data, make reports, and react to report data to run production.\nReview team members performance.\nMaintain Safety & training system and identify training needs.\nTrack & report daily Quality data findings, publish weekly / monthly DPM results\nSupport necessary manufacturing data details, for supplier audits\nSupport customer product & UL compliance with documentation requirements.\nSupport monthly inventory and end of month accounting close process\nSupport purchasing materials when necessary \n\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience preferred.\n5 years’ experience in manufacturing leadership role.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly.\nProficient with basic math and equations.\nProficient with computers (Microsoft office suite, especially excel).\nSelf-starter.\nStrong written and oral communication.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.\nAbility to manage multiple areas and tasks.\nSupport weekend production coverage.\n\nPhysical Requirements: \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stoop, stand and walk; use hands to feel or handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
