They assist management with safety, production, cost and quality all while driving a positive employee experience. A Process Assistant is a servant leader; dive in, roll up your sleeves to help in any situation, make tools available, remove obstacles for associates to excel in their roles, have empathy and compassion for associates, and the passion and leadership to stand up for them when the time arises. \nResponsibilities \n\nMaintain strong working knowledge of all processes and policies \nAssist Operations Managers with the assignment of daily work responsibilities including allocating labor, leading shift start-up meetings and communicating with other departments\nQuickly recognize, diagnose and solve workflow challenges for associates and partner with leadership to resolve issues as needed\nActively lead with safety, production, cost and quality at the forefront of all decision making\nBe patient, have strong communication skills and the capability to give and receive effective feedback (eg. timely daily feedback in a training capacity, not disciplinary discussion)\nCommunicate cross-departmentally \nImplement and monitor continuous improvement processes for the team \nManage, coordinate and track daily attendance and break periods \nTrack and report labor hours and UPH\nVerify SOP/PMV compliance for assigned department and ensure work stations are kept neat, clean and organized\nContinue the onboarding process and ramp-up period post training\nBe comfortable speaking in front of groups of all sizes\nSupport teams through change and embrace continuous improvement\nPartner with trainers and leadership to maintain and apply learning tools\nCommunicate feedback to better the operation and the employee experience\nCommunicate and cooperate with team members and leadership\nEnforce safety guidelines, cleanliness and security standards\nTake on additional duties as assigned by leadership\nProficient in warehouse management software\nQualifications\nEducation beyond high school and prior experience leading teams is a plus\nHave a positive, ‘can-do” attitude and excellent interpersonal skills\nAbility to work flex shifts, hours, nights and weekends as the business dictates\nStrong written and verbal communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus\nIntermediate computer skills (eg. spreadsheet software) as well as the ability to operate warehouse tools (eg. scanner, ladder, warehouse software)\nForward thinkers with the ability to articulate point of view and improve processes \nEnforce safety guidelines, cleanliness and security standards\nAbility to quickly recognize, diagnose and solve for challenges and workflow for associates in partnership with leadership\nMust operate with a sense of urgency and have attention to detail \nAlign with the company's core values to ensure a world class customer experience\nAbility to lift a maximum of 50 lbs based on needs of the role\nBenefits:\nAt Rent the Runway, we’re committed to the wellbeing of our employees, and aim to create a workplace that fosters both personal and professional growth.
