Check out our public roadmap to see what’s coming next!\nMission of this role\nAs a DevOps Engineer you'll take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, system reliability, observability and scalability. You bring strong DevOps fundamentals paired with solid software development skills, so you can build clean, maintainable automation and internal tooling. You're comfortable operating with autonomy, making architectural decisions and raising the quality and resilience of our delivery and operational workflows.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn infrastructure system health, security posture and cost for Rentman and Crewzone.\n\nLead the transition to fully code-defined infrastructure, moving our AWS estate from ClickOps to end-to-end Infrastructure-as-Code.\n\nSet up and maintain staging environments the P&D team can rely on for daily testing.\n\nBuild and own our observability stack: monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts and uptime KPIs.\n\nProduce insight into hosting cost and performance, and turn that insight into concrete recommendations.\n\nUnify our Fargate and Kubernetes services onto one standard.\n\nOwn cloud security and IAM, including account structure, access management, secrets and the controls that support our compliance work.\n\nManage stakeholders across P&D and stay ahead of infrastructure required to land future products on.\n\nWhat we are looking for\nExperience being responsible for the availability and infrastructure of a business critical product or service.\n\nYou've personally led an Infrastructure-as-Code migration of a non-trivial production AWS estate, using Terraform, Pulumi or CDK. Contributing to one isn't enough, we need someone who has led it.\n\nYou've designed and operated CI/CD pipelines at product scale, using GitHub Actions or a comparable tool. Again, designing and operating, not just maintaining.\n\nYou're comfortable setting your own priorities against outcomes rather than working off a ticket list.\n\nYou can write code, not just think about infrastructure.
