Candidates MUST currently reside in the USA to be considered.\nAbout the role\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a key role in our month-end close process, revenue accounting, and overall accounting operations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys both hands-on accounting and building structure within evolving processes. The Senior Accountant will support accurate and timely financial reporting, review transactional activity prepared by staff accountants, coordinate sales tax compliance processes, assist with revenue stream management, and help strengthen documentation and internal controls. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial statements while helping build scalable accounting infrastructure as the company continues to grow.\nWhat You'll Do\nMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting\nDrive and support month-end close procedures, including preparation and review of journal entries\nCoordinate close activities with accounting staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks\nPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules\nAnalyze fluctuations and variances to ensure accuracy and completeness\nEnsure transactions are properly recorded in NetSuite in accordance with GAAP\nSupport preparation of financial reporting packages and management analysis\nRevenue & Subscription Accounting\nMaintain revenue recognition schedules across multiple product and service lines in accordance with ASC 606\nReconcile billing system data to NetSuite and investigate discrepancies\nAssist in reviewing customer contracts for accounting implications\nSupport documentation of revenue recognition policies and procedures\nSales Tax & Compliance Coordination\nCoordinate sales tax filings and compliance processes with third-party tax software providers\nReview sales tax reports and ensure completeness and accuracy of data\nSupport multi-state compliance requirements and related documentation\nAssist with audit support and other regulatory filings as needed\nAudit, Controls & Documentation\nPrepare audit-ready schedules and serve as primary support contact for assigned audit areas\nManage PBC requests and coordinate responses with internal team members\nDraft and maintain accounting memos for significant accounting positions\nDevelop and formalize accounting policies and standard operating procedures\nCreate and maintain close documentation and supporting workpaper standards\nStrengthen internal control processes as the company scales\nContract & Document Management\nEstablish and maintain a centralized repository for vendor contracts and key accounting documents\nEnsure contracts are organized, accessible, and aligned with accounting records\nAssist in reviewing vendor agreements for accounting implications\nImprove documentation retention practices to support audit readiness\nProcess Improvement & Cross-Functional Support\nIdentify opportunities to improve close processes, documentation, and scalability\nAssist in refining procedures to enhance efficiency and automation\nPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, FP&A, and other teams to resolve accounting-related questions\nSupport special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned\nQualifications\n3-7 years of progressive accounting experience\nStrong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes\nExperience preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations\nExperience supporting external audits\nAbility to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nHigh attention to detail with strong documentation capabilities\nPosition is only
