You will take ownership of everything from hardware lifecycle management and employee onboarding to access controls, device management and local IT troubleshooting.\n\nYou will work closely with ReOrbit's IT Infrastructure, Operations & Support teams, particularly HQ in Helsinki, helping to implement global standards, policies and security requirements locally. You will also play an important role in establishing Bangalore as part of ReOrbit's follow-the-sun support model, providing remote support to colleagues across other locations when required.\n\nIt's an exciting chance to join a dynamic start-up, with the opportunity to make a real impact, to reach our goal of pushing the boundaries of space data transfer.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nManage the local hardware inventory for the Bangalore office, including device setup, repair, replacement, lifecycle management and shipment coordination.\nProvide hands-on support for regional IT projects, technology rollouts and infrastructure initiatives in Bangalore.\nOwn the onboarding and offboarding process for Bangalore employees, including device provisioning, account setup, security requirements and access controls.\nManage and support local physical security systems, including CCTV and access-related infrastructure.\nSupport the implementation of HQ-driven security policies, processes and IT standards at the Bangalore location.\nSupport Microsoft Active Directory design and administration, including Group Policy management and cloud or hybrid server environments.\nManage software licences and subscriptions for Bangalore-based users and devices.\nDeploy and maintain standardised laptop and mobile device configurations.\nTroubleshoot local server, infrastructure and end-user technology issues.\nManage Windows support tickets and provide timely resolution or escalation where required.\nAdminister MDM enrolment and device lifecycle processes for Bangalore devices.\nProvide remote support to other ReOrbit locations as part of the follow-the-sun IT support model.\nCoordinate with the global IT team and escalate infrastructure, security or service issues to Helsinki when required.\nMaintain accurate documentation of local IT assets, configurations, procedures and support activities.\n\nSkills And Requirements\n\n3–6 years of experience in IT administration and end-user support, ideally supporting a regional, satellite or multi-site office.\nHands-on experience with hardware inventory management, device repair and replacement, and end-to-end device lifecycle management.\nExperience managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, security and physical access controls.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and cloud or hybrid server administration.\nExperience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or equivalent tools for device management and onboarding or offboarding.\nStrong Windows end-user support and troubleshooting skills.\nComfortable working as the primary on-site IT presence and independently managing local priorities while escalating to global teams when needed.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support and implement globally defined policies and processes locally.\nStrong organisational and documentation skills.\n\nWhat does ReOrbit do\n\nReOrbit builds the foundation for the next generation of space applications by transforming satellites into truly intelligent, interconnected platforms, defined by software.
