We are adding a DevOps Engineer to our growing team. The DevOps Engineer works as part of a team of engineers focused on building, maintaining, and supporting cloud native infrastructure for REPAY’s SaaS platform. The engineer will be primarily focused on implementing configuration management to automate the setup and configuration of servers and environments using Puppet and Terraform. The engineer also be responsible for maintaining and supporting the various CI/CD application tools along with assist in completing departmental objectives through assigned duties.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMonitor, maintain, and support applications in Azure and AWS cloud Development and Test environments. \nWork with internal engineering teams to identify and implement improvements to infrastructure (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring etc. \nWrite code and contribute to the software architecture of a highly concurrent, high throughput system on AWS cloud. \nContribute to roadmap development, execution, and releases. \nManage Azure and AWS cloud Inventory and new infrastructure deployments. \nAssist the team in achieving established goals and departmental objectives. \nParticipate in an environment that emphasizes trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort. \nImplement and support configuration management using Puppet and IaC with Terraform to automate the creation, setup, and configuration of servers and environments. \nContribute to infrastructure improvements, architecture, development, and deployment. \nStandardize, develop, and maintain common development tools and infrastructure, such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, cluster management, config management, etc. \nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by following the broader industry, attending training sessions and educational workshops. \nHelp maintain a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization with an emphasis on the REPAY mission, vision, guiding principles, and values. \nMaintain and adhere to quality and service standards, analyze, and resolve issues, identify trends, and recommend improvements. \nDevelop documentation, including but not limited to platform requirements and functional specifications. \nConcurrently work on a variety of projects and tasks using a variety of technologies. \nMay travel to visit clients or other REPAY offices throughout North America to participate in design sessions and deliver technical presentations and training \nOther duties as assigned \nundefined\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience Technical certifications are preferred\n3+ years of knowledge and experience with Puppet as a configuration management tool. \n3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, microservice architectures, Operations or DevOps roles. \nAble to write Puppet code to customize Windows server configurations. \nExperience with Terraform as infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tool. \nProficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PowerShell. \nExperience with Git or other version control systems. \nExperience with Azure and Amazon AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS etc. is required. \nExperience in building, running, and scaling microservices using Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, monitoring services like Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic etc. is strongly preferred. \nExperience with building, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines like TeamCity, Fortify, SonarCloud, Octopus Deploy, CircleCI, and Argo. \nTroubleshooting expertise across different layers of the technology stack. \nProficiency in Windows, Azure, AWS, and distributed application architectures. \nExperience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Puppet and Terraform. \nExperience in distributed applications on public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure etc. \nExperience working with and supporting software development teams. \nExperience with different software development languages (e.g., Java, .NET, python, go, etc.) \nExperience with security and compliance within an organization (e.g. ITIL, PCI, SOC, etc.) \nExcellent written and verbal communications skills and an ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client communications. \nAbility to influence others, build relationships, manage conflicts, and handle negotiations. \nUnderstanding and following the business strategy, objectives, and adjusting to performance metrics. \nExcellent organization, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills for cross-functional collaboration. \nAbility to handle pressure and focus on results. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. \nWHY JOIN REPAY.… BECAUSE CULTURE IS EVERYTHING\nGROWTH & PEOPLE-CENTERED LEADERSHIP\nAs the industry-leading financial technology provider in the Consumer Finance and Business to Business spaces, we continue to set the standard for application development and delivery.
