Read more about this partnership here.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Clinical Solutions Development team is a fast-moving, high-quality group focused on solving one of healthcare’s most complex challenges: patient discharge. We are expanding the scope of our work and the team to solve it. To help us do that, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the data-driven healthcare solutions. You'll own significant pieces of our architecture, set technical direction, and raise the bar for engineering quality across the team. This is a hands-on role for someone who writes excellent code and elevates the people and systems around them. \nWe operate like a startup within a larger organization-highly collaborative, often challenging status quo, and always looking to get better. If you’re excited about building something meaningful (and having fun while you do it), we’d love to meet you. \nLocation: This is a hybrid position requiring 1 day a week in our Philadelphia office. \nReports to: Manager, Software Engineering\nAs a Senior Software Engineer at Trella, you will:\nDesign complex, scalable systems; review code; maintain technical documentation and diagrams ensuring best practices.\nResolve challenging issues; optimize performance and reliability; lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.\nBuild cloud-native solutions; support CI/CD, automation, containerization; collaborate on infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.\nApply security best practices; mitigate risks; ensure compliance with standards and regulations.\nDrive engineering excellence by defining best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.\nMentor engineers; share expertise; foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning culture.\nArchitect and implement efficient API integration patterns to build backend services, collaborate with front-end engineers to define API contracts, and ensure seamless data flow between systems.\nPartner closely with cross-functional teams in design, product, and other business units.\nTake ownership in product features that drive Trella’s mission.\nImprove the team through the process and/or technical contributions.\nBe results-driven: We prosper by delivering value to our customers. We need each team member to be customer-centric and focusing on actions that provide value to the customer\nThis job might be a fit for you if you have:\n7+ years of software development, including experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms.\nExpert proficiency in programming languages and API development (Java, Python, JavaScript, REST) with a strong understanding of architectural patterns and system design.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.\nExperience working with RESTful APIs and system integrations.\nSolid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.\nGood understanding of JSON, SQL, and GIT actions.\nHands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and logging.\nA constant desire to grow, learn and explore new things.\nExperience developing applications for healthcare is a plus.\nAbout Repisodic, a Trella Health solution\nFounded in 2017, Repisodic helps health systems streamline hospital discharges with an EHR-integrated automation platform that improves care transitions and reduces administrative burden.
