The responsibilities include reviewing customer/internal single-use designs, utilizing component library, bringing in additional components to use on custom/standard single-use designs. You will be supporting the release and evaluation of components and finished goods into our ERP system. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.You will be part of a cross functional team of 26 highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that guides customers in selection of various single use design configurations. This aligns with business preferred raw material and works closely with the commercial team to convert customer conceptual design into a product solution that meets customer applications' needs.\nResponsibilities:\nWorking closely with commercial team, convert customer conceptual design into a product solution that meets customer applications need. High concentration in Silicone and Thermoplastic manufacturing and development.\nGuide customer in selection of various raw materials that aligns with business preferred raw material.\nGenerate finish product cost estimates\nProduct setup in ERP system which includes but not limited to creating Item Master, manufacturing router and Bill of materials.\nInitiate / Approve Engineering Change Orders for raw materials and finished products\nBuilding detailed raw material specifications which includes regulatory / compliance information, physical properties, application, sterilization, etc.\nWorks cross-functionally with commercial, manufacturing, and engineering teams.\nSupports continuous improvement and innovation across product development and manufacturing.\nTravel required Qualifications:\nMinimum 4+ years of experience in designing Bioprocess Single Use products and applications \nDemonstrated ability to produce clear and accurate product drawings and manufacturing instructions \nCompetence with AutoCAD is must, and any prior working knowledge of SolidWorks will be a plus. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, and prior working experience with ERP System and Quality management tool is desired. \nBasic knowledge of IQ,OQ, PQ’s and other validations.\nBachelor's degree preferred\nA successful candidate will demonstrate or have strong skills in the following areas:\nWritten and verbal technical communication,\nInterpersonal cross functional team based interaction,\nOrganizational and detail oriented, analytical, planning and problem solving\nIntellectual curiosity and a results oriented mindset. \nWhat You Bring:\nProven experience in CAD design (2D/3D), preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and commercial teams.\nAbility to balance customer requirements with manufacturing constraints.\nA proactive, service-oriented mindset with attention to detail and quality.\nOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $85,000-$140,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
