And the NPI successfully launching in the field.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n1. Product Application Support & Troubleshooting:\nProvide technical expertise to customers and sales teams on product usage, formulation adjustments, and performance optimization, to gain sustainable business growth within responsible territories.\nConduct lab-scale and pilot-scale trials to demonstrate product functionality in customer-specific applications.\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues related to product performance, stability, or compatibility.\n2. Customer Collaboration & Solution Development:\nWork closely with key customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.\nPrepare technical documentation, including application guidelines, case studies, and best practices.\nDeliver training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams.\n3. Cross-Functional Product Development Support:\nCollaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to refine formulations based on market feedback.\nProvide input on China-specific application requirements for new product development.\nSupport the scale-up of new products from lab to production.\n4. Market & Competitive Intelligence:\nAnalyze competitor products and benchmark performance against company offerings.\nIdentify emerging trends and unmet needs in the China market to guide innovation.\n5. Regulatory & Compliance Support:\nEnsure product applications comply with regional regulations and industry standards.\nAssist in preparing technical dossiers for product registration when needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related disciplines.\nExperience:\nMore than 3 years of relevant experience in technical support, application development, or related roles, preferably in Biopharmaceutical upstream relatives.\nHands-on experience with lab/pilot-scale equipment and testing methodologies.\nFamiliarity with China market dynamics and customer needs.\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong knowledge of mammalian cell culture (CHO, HEK293) or microbial fermentation (E. coli, yeast), bioreactor operations (bench-scale to pilot-scale), including fed-batch, perfusion, and high-density cultures, process optimization (media development, feeding strategies, process parameter tuning), It is better to have PAT or DOE knowledge/background.\nProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.\nWorking knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams.\nExcellent analytical, business insight, forecasting skills\nAbility to prioritize and work independently to achieve defined goals\nAbility to work well within a global, cross functional teams\nTravel Requirements:\nUp to 30% travel withinChina for customer visits, trials, and technical support.
