The Facilities Manager leads site Facilities operations while partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and site leadership to maintain operational continuity.\nThis role is expected to model our Leadership Behaviors-Integrity & Compliance, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Team Empowerment, and Accountability & Results-in all aspects of work.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead daily Facilities and maintenance operations, prioritizing safety, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing needs.\nLead and develop Facilities personnel and coordinate contractors and service providers.\nMaintain reliable operation of HVAC/BMS, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, mechanical, life-safety, and security systems.\nProvide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for manufacturing equipment, including injection molding, silicone extrusion, and electro-mechanical systems.\nManage CMMS activities including preventive/corrective maintenance, calibrations, work orders, asset records, and critical spare parts.\nCoordinate emergency repairs, equipment recovery, shutdowns, and on-call Facilities support.\nManage vendors, contractors, landlords, service agreements, and related costs and performance.\nManage Facilities and capital projects from scope development through execution, commissioning, qualification, and closeout.\nSupport Quality and compliance systems including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, qualification, SOPs, work instructions, and audit readiness.\nSupport site safety programs including LOTO, NFPA 70E, contractor safety, and emergency response.\nManage Facilities operating expenses, capital budgets, purchasing, and vendor commitments.\nDrive facility reliability, continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.\nSupport site security, access control, cameras, and associated systems.\nQualifications\n7+ years of progressive Facilities, industrial maintenance, facilities engineering, or manufacturing experience.\nDemonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.\nStrong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, controls, and industrial equipment.\nExperience supporting automated manufacturing equipment; injection molding and/or extrusion preferred.\nExperience supporting ISO-classified cleanrooms, including HVAC/environmental controls, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, and qualification/requalification.\nExperience with BMS, CMMS, preventive maintenance, calibration, and GMP environments.\nExperience managing vendors, contractors, projects, and operating/capital budgets.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex problems and coordinate resources during changing operational priorities.\nKnowledge of OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and applicable safety requirements.\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience working with computerized maintenance and business systems.\nAbility to read technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nDemonstrated ownership, urgency, accountability, organization, and follow-through.\nAbility to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining safety, compliance, reliability, and customer support.\nValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to participate in on-call/emergency support.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent technical education, skilled-trade training, certifications, and relevant industrial experience will be considered.\nTrade licensing or advanced experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls/PLC, or related disciplines is preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to access manufacturing, Facilities, and mechanical areas, including stairs and ladders.\nAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required for equipment and facility inspections.\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to respond to facility or equipment emergencies as required.\nOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $119,000 - $146,300. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
