Business, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering students with functional understanding of accounting/Finance functions may also be considered.\nRepsol is one of the top companies in the oil and gas industry. At the end of your internship, you will present your summer project to our staff.\nRepsol’s student employment program offers the following advantages.\nJob Description: The successful candidate will be assigned a project within an area of interest to be supervised by a senior member of the Planning & Performance Team, to collaborate as follows:\nSupport team in providing timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis.\nAssist with PowerPoint slides for various meetings.\nExposure to financial modeling, benchmarking analyses, budget and forecast preparation.\nReport building in Power BI. \nConduct other activities, as needed.\nRequirements for Consideration:\nFully authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Additionally, we are not authorized for employment under OPT/CPT/F1 visa programs.\n\nUndergrad (or higher) degree in process, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering with functional understanding of accounting/Finance functions. Other disciplines may be considered if closely related.\n\nStudents with an expected graduation 2028-2029 are encouraged to apply (juniors or sophomores). May 2027 graduates may only be considered if enrolled in a post-graduate program.\n\nMust have cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher, to be confirmed with transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable)\n\nMust be available for a continuous 12-week period for the duration of the 2027 summer intern program, starting May 17th and ending on August 6th.\n\nPreference for candidates with some internship experience, ideally within oil & gas but not required.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nStrong interest in data analysis, business analytics, problem-solving, and critical thinking.\n\nAbility to work with data and derive meaningful insights.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nDetail-oriented, highly motivated, and organized.\n\nAble to manage multiple tasks with responsibility and precision.\n\nEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and analytical methods.\n\nAbility to work independently and take initiative.\n\nWillingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.\n\nAbility to interact in a team environment.\n\nInternship Details:\nPosition will be based out of our office in The Woodlands, TX. Interns are expected onsite Monday-Friday, with the exception of 9/80's. The 9/80 schedule is optional per the manager's discretion, based on intern project scope and timeline.\n\nNon-local candidates may be considered but must arrange their own travel and temporary accommodations. A summer stipend will be provided to help offset out of pocket expenses.\n\nStudents must be available for the full duration of the internship from May 17-Aug 6. Any personal time off must be approved by the supervisor as unpaid leave and should be noted with the recruiter as early as possible.\n\nInterns will receive an hourly wage but are not eligible for benefits or paid time off.
