This is role is based on site from our field office in Three Rivers, Texas.\nPosition Title: Sustaining Facilities & Construction Sr. Supervisor (exempt)\nDepartment: Unconventional Business Unit\nReports to: Execution Manager\nLocation: Onsite, Three Rivers, TX office & field operations in Eagle Ford region.\nPosition Overview\nThe Sustaining Facilities & Construction Sr. Supervisor provides field leadership for the safe planning, execution, and delivery of sustaining capital projects, facility upgrades, maintenance-related construction, and infrastructure improvements across the Eagle Ford Asset. This role is accountable for completing work safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, approved budgets, and established schedules.\nThe position serves as the primary field leader for construction execution and works closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Supply Chain, Land, Regulatory, Drilling & Completions, and construction contractors. The Sr. Supervisor is expected to promote safe leadership, integrated teamwork, operational discipline, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong visibility in the field.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management, Construction & Execution\nLead sustaining capital and brownfield facility projects from planning through mechanical completion, commissioning support, and turnover.\nManage construction activities across key asset infrastructure, including:\nOil, gas, and water gathering systems\nProduction facilities and tank batteries\nCompression facilities\nPipeline gathering systems\nGrid power application for wellsite facilities\nInstrumentation, controls, and automation systems\n\nInfrastructure improvements\nCoordinate project execution with Operations to minimize production disruptions and maintain safe operations.\nReview construction work packages, drawings, specifications, schedules, and contractor execution plans.\nParticipate in scope development, constructability reviews, project planning, and cost estimating activities.\nEnsure project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are clearly defined, monitored, and achieved.\nSupport commissioning, startup, mechanical completion, and turnover activities.\nLeadership & Team Development\nDemonstrate visible and engaged safety leadership throughout all phases of project execution.\nPromote a culture built upon accountability, teamwork, respect, and operational discipline.\nLead, mentor, and develop Construction Coordinators, Inspectors, Contractors, and field support personnel.\nFoster collaboration between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HSE, Supply Chain, and Contractor organizations.\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned programs.\nMaintain a strong field presence through routine site visits, audits, inspections, and workforce engagement.\nContractor Management\nMonitor contractor safety, productivity, quality, schedule adherence, and workforce effectiveness.\nConduct contractor kickoff meetings, performance reviews, and routine field audits.\nEnsure contractor compliance with company standards, specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nHold contractors accountable for safety, quality, environmental stewardship, and execution performance.\nSafety, Environment & Regulatory Compliance\nEnsure full compliance with all company Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.\nLead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Pre-Task Planning, Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work compliance activities with the F&C teams.\nParticipate in incident investigations, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and corrective action implementation.\nEnsure environmental protection measures are incorporated into project execution activities.\nCoordinate with HSE personnel to maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company standards.\nQuality Assurance & Reliability\nEnsure construction activities meet approved engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards.\nVerify required inspections, pressure testing, welding documentation, and quality records are properly completed.\nSupport facility integrity programs and reliability improvement initiatives.\nMaintain construction records, turnover documentation, punch lists, and as-built drawings.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve asset reliability, maintainability, and operational performance.\nApplicable Codes, Standards & Regulatory Knowledge\nThe successful candidate should have a working knowledge of applicable industry requirements that govern oil and gas construction, facility operations, pipeline systems, electrical work, instrumentation, automation, and sour service environments.\nIndustry Codes & Standards\nPipeline & Mechanical Systems\nASME B31.3 & ASME B31.4\nAPI 1104 Welding Standards\nNACE MR0175 / ISO 15156\nElectrical & Instrumentation\nNational Electrical Code (NFPA 70)\nNFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace\nIndustrial Controls and Automation Standards\nHazardous Area Classification Requirements\nRequired Qualifications\nFull U.S. work authorization without restrictions, conditions, or current/future sponsorship.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum 8 years of progressive oil and gas facilities and construction experience. 10 or more years of supervisory or field leadership experience preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing sustaining capital projects and brownfield facility modifications.\nExperience supporting production facilities, pipelines, compression systems, water infrastructure, and automation systems.\nProven contractor management and multi-discipline project execution experience.\nCandidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced oil and gas construction and facilities professional with a proven track record of safely executing sustaining capital projects, facility upgrades, brownfield modifications, and infrastructure improvement initiatives within an active operating environment. They have extensive field leadership experience managing construction activities across production facilities, gathering systems, compression, pipelines, electrical infrastructure, and automation systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, operational reliability, and cost control.\nSuccessful candidates come from upstream production, facilities construction, project execution, midstream operations, or capital projects organizations and have progressed through roles such as Construction Superintendent, Facilities Supervisor, Construction Manager, Project Execution Supervisor, Capital Projects Supervisor, or Field Operations Leader.
