Crew Schedulers have a direct impact to Republic’s reliability KPIs by ensuring each scheduled flight departs on time with a legal and qualified crew. The Crew Scheduler position responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nEnsure compliance with applicable FAA regulations, Union contracts, and Company policies\nAssign all flights to a legal and qualified crew for an on-time departure\nCoordinate quick recovery of open flying due to irregular operations, crewmember call-offs, management removals, and legalities\nAnticipate operational disruptions and propose cost-effective solutions\nImplement time-sensitive decisions to solve disruptions to the daily flight schedule\nCoordinate with dispatchers and support departments to resolve operational issues\nEnsure changes to the published schedule are communicated to crewmembers in a timely manner\nAssist with on-the-job training of new hire crew schedulers\nProvide 24/7 support to Pilots and Flight Attendants by processing sick calls, trip trade and drop requests, general schedule inquiries, and other daily schedule modifications\nBook hotel accommodations, deadhead travel, and ground transportation\nProvide exceptional and timely customer service to the crewmembers\nMaintain a strong working knowledge of federal aviation regulations and applicable collective bargaining agreements\nCollaborate with internal departments for a safe, efficient, and reliable operation\nCommunicate professionally with coworkers and vendors\nUphold Republic Airways’ BEST guiding principles\nOther duties as assigned or required\nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent\nRemarkable customer service experience\nStable work history with reliable follow-through\nExcellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills\nComfortable working with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists\nInterpret a
