Ensures production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards are adhered to; identifying work process improvements; able to quickly implement new technology.\nCollaborates with business departmental management to create roadmaps for applications, defining software development plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation. Helps to establish proper governance for key applications and processes\nDocuments and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.\nServes as a liaison with network administrators, systems analysts, vendors, customers, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.\nPrepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.\nUpdates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.\nProvides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.\nPerforms other duties as assigned or required.\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\n10+ years of software development.\nExcels at championing agile development and software engineering best practices\nExpert proficiency in Visual Studio, C# .Net, Javascript, SQL, and one mobile programming language required\nPrior experience in cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services) and cloud-native concepts such as containerization and microservice design required. \nAble to articulate and demonstrate a strong personal set of first principles for software development.\nAbility to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects in varying stages of development under time pressure and deadlines\nFlexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies\nStrong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills\nHighly self-motivated and directed\nPREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies or related area.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
