Provides recommendations to resolve issues and/or findings.\nPartners with end-users to understand and adhere to information security policies and procedures.\nCollaborates with external vendors and partners as necessary to resolve issues/incidents.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nSpecialty training beyond high school in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience. \nAt least 3 years related information security and/or IT networking experience.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology. \nAt least 5 years related Information Security and/or IT networking experience. \nCertification in GSEC, CCNA/NP/DA, Any SANS Certification and/or CISSP.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\nREASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nDECISION MAKING \nMakes day to day decisions used to support strategic direction.
