In this role, you'll partner with Engineering, Product, and QA team members to build and maintain automated tests that improve product quality and release confidence. You'll contribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives, develop automated customer journey tests, and help improve automation frameworks used across our SaaS platform.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an automation engineer who enjoys building scalable test solutions while learning and applying emerging AI technologies.\nHow You’ll Shape the Experience\nDevelop and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and other platform components.\n\nContribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives that improve test creation, execution, and maintenance.\n\nBuild automated customer journey tests that validate critical user workflows.\n\nEnhance existing automation frameworks to improve reliability, maintainability, and test coverage.\n\nParticipate in regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing efforts.\n\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAssist with testing AI-powered product capabilities, including validating application behavior and outputs.\n\nAnalyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects.\n\nIdentify improvements to automation practices and testing efficiency.\n\nStay current on emerging automation and AI testing technologies and apply relevant best practices to your work.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\n4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation testing, or quality engineering.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test suites and automation frameworks.\n\nStrong software development background with proficiency in one or more of:\nPython\n\nJava\n\nJavaScript/TypeScript\n\nGo\n\nProven experience with automation technologies such as:\nPlaywright\n\nSelenium\n\nCypress\n\nPyTest\n\nRobot Framework (preferred)\n\nWorking knowledge of:\nSoftware architecture\n\nDistributed systems\n\nMicroservices\n\nCloud-native applications\n\nAgile development methodologies\n\nCI/CD practices\n\nExperience testing APIs, integrations, and large-scale SaaS platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\nExposure to Generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) and an interest in applying AI to software testing.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development tools.\n\nBasic understanding of prompt engineering and an interest in AI-enabled testing.\n\nFamiliarity with:\nOpenAI\n\nAnthropic\n\nLangChain\n\nLangGraph\n\nCrewAI\n\nAutoGen\n\nMCP (Model Context Protocol)\n\nExperience working with agentic AI frameworks or AI-assisted development tools.\n\nKnowledge of AI model evaluation and testing methodologies.\n\nExperience with RAG architectures and vector databases.\n\nUnderstanding of MLOps and AI platform operations.\n\nExperience developing synthetic user simulation or digital customer journey testing systems.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nThe ideal candidate is a collaborative automation engineer who develops reliable automated tests, contributes to AI-assisted quality initiatives, and partners with engineering teams to improve software quality and release confidence.\nWithin the first year:\nExpand automated test coverage for critical customer workflows.\n\nImprove the reliability and maintainability of automated test suites.\n\nContribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives that improve testing efficiency.\n\nReduce manual regression effort through automation.\n\nIdentify defects earlier in the development lifecycle to improve product quality.\n\nOur Benefits & Perks\nWe believe our people deserve to feel supported, valued, and rewarded both in and out of work.
