This role leads Site/Plant Managers, oversees field activities, ensures safe and reliable operations, and drives performance across assigned assets. The APM coordinates maintenance, troubleshooting, system testing, and contractor oversight while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.\nThe Associate Project Manager escalates budgetary, contractual, and critical strategic issues to the Regional/Project Manager but independently manages daily execution and operational decision-making.\nThis role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days in office.\nRequirements:\nManages daily operations of renewable energy assets (Focused on Energy Storage but Wind, Solar could come inconsideration), including direct oversight of smaller assets.\nBuildsstrong relationships with owners and stakeholders to ensure operational expectations and contractual performance metrics are met.\nOversees execution of maintenance plans, coordinating with facility operators to ensure compliance with contractual and operational requirements.\nLeads troubleshooting, fault analysis, and investigations into equipment failures or underperformance.\nDevelops and maintains facility-specific and departmental O&M procedures.\nProducesoperational reports for internal teams and clients.\nProvides on-call operational support.\nDrives automation and improvement of site data collection and reporting processes.\nProvides technical support to site teams and develops tools for reliability and performance analysis.\nLeads reliability improvement initiatives with site and service personnel.\nMaintains O&M cost trackers and supports forecasting of future O&M costs.\nMaintains familiarity with OSHA, NERC, ERCOT, TRE, NFPA, and other industry groups\nCollaborates with internal teams to analyze expected vs. actual production data.\nEnsuresproper use of materials and equipment and performsadditional duties as assigned.\nPerforms other duties on as needed basis.\nManages day-to-day vendor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.\nIdentifies and evaluates potential vendors for future RES projects.\nEscalates contractual, financial, or high-risk issues to the Regional/Project Manager.\nSafety:\nDemonstrates and reinforces a safety-first culture across all operations.\nEnsuresall personnel follow safe work practices and corrects unsafe behaviors.\nEnsures site teams understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.\nIdentifies and reports unsafe conditions and ensures appropriate corrective actions\nLeadership:\nFosters a workplace culture focused on opportunity, service, trust, innovation, and high performance.\nManages one or more direct reports.\nParticipates in hiring and selection processes.\nCommunicatesregularly with direct reports regarding goals, performance, and policy updates.\nRepresents RES professionally with clients and stakeholders.\nAssigns tasks and responsibilities that challenge and develop team members.\nConducts regular development discussions and empowers employees to grow.\nCompletes timely and effective performance reviews in accordance with RES guidelines.\nQualifications:\nHigh school/GED General Education required.\nBachelor DegreeEngineering or Business Management required.\n1+ years Power or Renewables Project required.\nExperience with utility scale facility management.\nStrong management background.\nField Electrical experience in utility grade facilities a plus.\nExperience with Energy Storage a plus.\nIntermediate usage of MS SQL, Strong Access, Excel, and Office suite skills.\nKnowledge of PI or SQL desirable.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently.\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.\nAbility to represent RES professionally in all aspects.\nAbility to work effectively with other groups within RES.\nSelf-motivated and the ability to interface in a team environment.\nStrong technical problem-solving skills.\nBasic electrical (low voltage) and switching (high voltage) knowledge and skills helpful but not required.\nAbility to reliably respond to operational issues on rotating 24/7 basis.\nFunctional competencies include teamwork, customer focus, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail\nDomestic and International travel 16-30%required.\nValid Driver’s License required.\nAnticipated base salary range:$70,000- $88,000\nThe final agreed upon compensationis based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
