We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.\nSummary: \nThe Craft - Apprentice Lineman is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site. \nRequirements: \nClimbs wood poles, lattice structures, and works off steel mono pole structures.\nClips over-head structures.\nAssists in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades.\nOperates bucket truck, digger derek, back-hoe, production digger, tensioner, and rope puller.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPresents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.\nSafety:\nEnsures that safety is the most important function and follows safe practices while working.\nReinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.\nEnsures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) occurs before scopes of work commence.\nAdheres to and understands standard operating procedures.\nReceives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.\nFollows technical, quality, and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.\nReports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.\nAttends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.\nComplies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.\nQualifications:\nCompletion of an accredited apprenticeship program required.\nHigh School Diploma/GED required.\n1 or more years of underground and substation experience preferred.\nAbility to travel domestically 76-100% required.\nKnowledgeable of OSHA guidelines.\nGood written and oral communication skills.\nKnowledge of distribution and transmission lines.\nKnowledge in framing.\nExperienced sticking and gloving.\nInterest in a program of self-development.\nWilling to accept increased responsibilities.\nFunctional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.\nAnticipated base salary range: $28.00 - $32.00\nThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.\nPer Diem of $95.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.\nRES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
